Mariah on a track New to search dog handling in 2004, Clay originally joined ASD to work with his German Shepherd dog Mariah under the guidance and experience of the seasoned veterans of the team. Since then, he's started training his other female German Shepherd, Heidi, who is half sister to Mariah. They share the same sire. Clay's interest in search dog handling comes from his love of the outdoors, and his desire to give something meaningful to society. Clay rewarding Mariah

Clay Mariah and Heidi Clay trains his dogs Mariah and Heidi with his wife Donna around their home in Miles City located in Custer County Montana. Clay is an EMT basic, and is a part-paid EMT/Firefighter with the Miles City Fire Department. His training goals are to pass Mariah in the tracking/trailing standards for the group, and to pass Heidi in the area scenting standards for the group.
